Logan

Hi everyone! I am so sorry it has been a little while since I posted an updated. As most of you know, Logan made his appearance early November 25, 2008 at 3:16 am. He weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 21 & 3/4 in long! He already has been such a joy in our lives. We fall more in love with him daily! It's been great being with him....although I miss your kids greatly as well! I got to see them last week when I went up for a gift exchange with the other Kindergarten teachers. What a treat it was to get to see all of them. They all seemed like they had grown, although I am sure in 3 weeks they haven't grown too much! It will be fun to see them at the Winter Party this Friday!

Thank you for all the encouraging and sweet notes that you have sent my way since Logan's arrival. I will do my best to put more updates...for now here's a couple pics of Logan. We are both doing great. He is such a happy and good baby...I'm lucky! Also, thank you all for the wonderful baby gifts you gave us at the baby shower...I can't tell you how much I have used all of your gifts and how much we love them. We are thankful for y'all and the kindness you showed us. Please tell your kids hi for me and I will see them soon!

Guided Reading

I hope that everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving break and is able to rest up! I sent home Guided Reading books home with everyone today. Please have your student read this every day at home if you can. Then write the title of the book, date and initial that you read it on the paper enclosed in the folder. This will help your child learn repetition, fluency, and help them learn to read or improve to read! Thank you!

Keep checking the blog and I'll let you know if and when Logan makes his arrival over the break. I am 38 weeks today, so we will see what happens! :)

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Have a wonderful break! :)
